Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger accounting
Manage job cost tracking, WIP reporting, and ensure timely and accurate financial statements
Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and support annual budgeting and forecasting efforts
Monitor cash flow, review project billing, and manage subcontractor compliance
Collaborate closely with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights
Implement process improvements and strengthen internal accounting controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in construction accounting, preferably within commercial roofing or subcontracting
Proficiency with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Foundation, or similar)
Strong understanding of job cost accounting, WIP, and percentage-of-completion
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
