The Health Physics Services Summer Intern will assist experienced professionals with research, testing, and the development of radiological protection program improvements.

Responsibilities
Perform limited research, testing, calculations and field studies under the direction of more experienced Health Physics Services (HPS) professionals
Participate in the development and implementation of radiological protection program improvements
Assist in the evaluation and application of Radiation Monitoring Equipment
Develop technical documents of limited scope for HPS
Qualification
Required
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program
Must have completed freshman year of college
Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing
Preferred
Currently pursuing a degree from a 4-year college or university majoring in Health Physics or related degree
