The Vehicle Verification Engineering Student will support vehicle calibration, testing, and data analysis activities, contributing to system-level development within the Mechatronics Systems Engineering group.

Responsibilities
Participate in vehicle and system-level testing using standardized methods and practices, including data acquisition and analysis
Support the development, documentation, and verification of mechatronic system control software strategies through simulation, calibration, vehicle evaluation, and peer reviews
Collect and analyze data from vehicles, test bench, dyno, and manufacturing environments; assist in root cause investigations and issue resolution
Collaborate with the vehicle applications team to define and refine software control logic and calibration strategies
Adhere to established quality management systems and follow all relevant policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure safe execution of tasks for self and others
Contributes to the development of test methods, procedures, and custom equipment for validation activities
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred
Enrolled in an engineering program with an accredited school
Understand the basics of engineering theory and principles of design
Knowledge in computer-based software, strong organizational/communication skills, and ability to work with others in a team environment
This role may require up to 20% travel to customer locations or other facilities
