Responsibilities

Supporting the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects

Advising clients throughout the development lifecycle

Managing EIA screening and scoping processes

Preparing Environmental Statements including reviewing technical input

Overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments

Preparing environmental and planning-related reports

Developing client relationships

Supporting the development of more junior members of the team

Contributing to single and multi-disciplinary proposals bids

Financial management of project work

Qualification

Required

Strong environmental planning experience (EIA)

Experience working in (or interest in) the energy sector

Chartered or working towards chartership

Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines

Working knowledge of different consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning & Planning Act, Hybrid Bill etc)

Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams

Track record of financial management of projects

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Ability to manage and mentor those around you

Competency and flexibility to meet the demands of the role
