The 3rd Shift Engineering Technician will be involved with maintenance and troubleshooting of Cable TV head-end equipment and automation systems, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Maintenance of mechanical equipment (conveyors, robots, motors, pneumatic devices, control devices, scanners, photo-eyes, etc.)

Understanding of equipment operation and basic trouble shooting for equipment controls (PLC, WES, WCS)

Maintain daily logs, perform preventative maintenance, conduct daily inspections and routine adjustments as needed to keep the automation equipment in good working order

Respond to emergency maintenance requests. Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution. This may require non-shift work

Assist with any automation system installation and retrofits as needed

Support CTDI’s sustainability initiatives

Work with all levels of management to define and prioritize workflow
