AWW2 Heat Treat Operator

The AWW2 Heat Treat Operator will perform various tasks related to forge and heat treatment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring product specifications are met while complying with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks related to forge/heat treat in a modern, manufacturing setting
Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirement
Able to read and follow work instructions
Measure and inspect forged parts to ensure conformance to product specifications
Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly
Measure concentricity using indicators
Able to read forge blueprints
Build heat-treat load per work instruction
Load/Unload furnace
Calculate time in furnace
Understand load diagrams and instructions
Complete mandatory heat code paperwork

Required

HS Diploma or GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
