The role involves leading a Site-Civil team, developing business strategies, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring project success and financial growth.
Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Develop, initiate and implement a business plan and strategy building on the company’s strengths within the industry
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional service
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the practice’s portfolio and market presence
Recruit and retain high performing team members to ensure the firm's continued success and competitiveness in the industry
Inspire, motivate, and mentor the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
Interact and collaborate with other Directors and company leaders across Florida and corporate wide
Develop, manage and achieve financial metrics of the group, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth
Monitor and direct project managers to achieve project and financial success overall projects within the group
Negotiate contracts, fees, and terms with clients, and other partners to maximize profitability and value
Ensure client satisfaction working with team members to achieve Osborn’s high quality design standards
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineering license required
15+ years of Civil design experience
Strong leadership capabilities
Broad civil engineering expertise and an understanding of basic FLA permitting requirements
Strong communication and inter-personal skills
Excellent analytical skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to manage staff and clients
Preferred
Municipal and other public experience a plus
