Responsibilities

Supplier Qualification: Support a cross-functional team by assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management system & processes, etc

Product and Process Qualification: Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) on commodity parts according to applicable process descriptions and standards. Leading includes the planning, tracking and reporting of project milestones as well as budget and resource needs. Support the supplier quality assurance measures along with the complete PPQ. Approve supplier process via submitted Manufacturing Quality Control Plan

Commodity Circles: Assist commodity strategic buyers in developing procurement strategies and project planning

Product Development Process: Represent Supplier Quality in cross-functional design reviews

Typical equipment of suppliers in scope includes fan cooled and plate heat exchangers

Manage various Supplier Quality Management tools and databases. Ensure data quality and transparency

Required

You have a bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered

At least 10 years preferred professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering related to Heat Exchangers. Position Class can be adjusted based on the candidate's experience

You have experience performing supplier evaluation, qualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers

You have extensive knowledge in welding, coating, material cleaning & preservation, and inspection (NDT Level II & III)

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain a passport
