Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and written instructions to develop accurate illustrations

Create precise line drawings, vector graphics, and 3D representations of mechanical systems using Adobe Illustrator and related tools

Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly visuals for a broad audience

Incorporate labels, callouts, and explanatory text to ensure clarity and usability

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technical writers to ensure accuracy and alignment with project goals

Deliver artwork for use in operations manuals, spare parts catalogs, maintenance instructions, training materials, and other technical publications across print and digital platforms

Required

Bachelor's degree in Technical Illustration, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Commercial Art, Fine Arts (Illustration/Design), or a related field

Ability to read blueprints and prepare preliminary parts lists

Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and related design software

Experience with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk 3ds Max, or Maya

Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Perform all duties safely without endangering self or others

Ability to read and implement safety manuals and procedures
