Responsibilities
Learn to process semi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll tax payments with accuracy and timeliness
Assist with preparing and filing federal and multi-state tax returns using tools like MasterTax and Excel
Support reconciliations of tax payments to bank and internal records
Help respond to tax notices and agency inquiries under senior team guidance
Participate in client onboarding by collecting and organizing tax ID documentation
Stay current on tax rules, regulations, and compliance requirements for all 50 states
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of accounting or payroll concepts through coursework or internships
Proficiency in Excel and interest in learning financial systems (e.g., MasterTax, QuickBooks, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow into a high-performing team member
