Responsibilities
Supports department leadership
Manages landscape architecture projects and client relationships
Develops conceptual designs, construction documents and conducts construction observation for projects of varied scope and scale
Develops project schedules and budgets
Directs and coordinates the work of project team members
Manages sub-consultants
Coordinates with clients and other consultants
Coordinates with local governmental agencies
Prepares monthly project billing
Manages project A/R
Assists with/conducts business development
Assists with preparation of contracts
Mentors less experienced team members
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited University
Licensed Landscape Architect in Florida or ability to obtain reciprocity
3 yrs. plus demonstrated work experience
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite
Innovative design skills
Sound technical expertise in conceptual design, construction documents and construction observation
Strong organizational skills
Excellent project and client management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation, listening and communication skills
Thorough understanding of design, graphics, marketing, communication and business development
