Responsibilities

Perform failure analysis, repair, testing, and/or packaging per applicable work instructions and experience
Updates RMA information in SAP such as complaint root cause, complaint codes, pm findings, and repairs needed
Maintains work order information such as the BOM, operations completed, tools used for repair, material used for repair, and test results
Analyzes wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, and fab drawings to conduct repairs and testing of FRUs
Provide detailed symptom descriptions for Failures uncovered during repair, functional test, and calibration to assist in component level troubleshooting
Conducts quality inspections of own or other’s work to ensure workmanship standards are met
Complete all required documentation per GDP guidelines
Reports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notifications (VR, PL, NCs) records transaction in SAP as needed to preserve traceability
Maintains neat and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standards
Follows all safety procedures and protocols

Required

2-4 years related experience, or degree in a STEM field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Ability to interpret written instructions
Ability to do basic math
Ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal customers
Proficient use of computer and associated programs
Acute attention to detail
Excellent hand eye coordination
Ability to handle small parts and tools
Ability to work varying shifts
Ability to work in a team environment
High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training; and/or on the job training
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Able to use office and test equipment in a typical office/light manufacturing environment
Repetitive motion. Substantial continual motion
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, depth and ability to adjust focus
Typical production & repairs environment
General knowledge of clean and organized work areas and practices
High urgency and stress associated with customer deadlines
Some risk of exposure to electrical shock and commonly used chemical compounds such as epoxy, denatured alcohol and acetone
Willing and able to work extended hours when necessary

Preferred

Associates or Bachelors degree in a STEM field
Proficiency with SAP or equivalent
Proficient with Agile or equivalent
Previous experience executing SQL queries
Previous experience in a regulated industry
