Responsibilities
Partner with Strategy COOs and Business Development to design and execute onboarding plans for new portfolio managers and investment teams
Engage with portfolio managers pre-signing to understand their strategy, assess complexity, and ensure operational readiness
Work with teams to confirm systems (OMS, PMS, risk systems) can support the strategy’s requirements
Collaborate with Risk, Accounting, Compliance, Technology, Trading, and Operations to integrate new investment strategies seamlessly
Coordinate with Prime and Executing Brokers on onboarding new strategies, funds, and accounts
Ensure access to essential data, research providers, and analytical tools for incoming teams
Establish a repeatable framework to streamline the onboarding process for portfolio managers
Identify gaps, drive efficiencies, and propose innovative solutions to improve operational scalability
Act as a trusted liaison to portfolio managers and internal stakeholders, clearly articulating strategy needs and onboarding requirements
Manage onboarding projects end-to-end, including timelines, deliverables, and risk escalations
Qualification
Required
BA/MA in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field and 10-15 years of experience within the financial services sector
Experience within a multi-manager, multi-strategy investment model, ideally in a hedge fund or asset management environment
Experience working with multiple asset classes and across country-specific operational nuances
History of working closely with senior business heads, investment teams, traders, and PMs
Deep understanding of the multi-asset class Prime Brokerage model
Strong systems knowledge across OMS, PMS, and risk platforms
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in rapidly changing environments
Strong problem-solving mindset—constantly seeking efficiencies and improvements
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate investment strategies clearly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
