Business Development Manager - Events
TAG is a company that provides high-touch, personalized travel and event management services to top clients and C-suite executives. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to support their growing Events department by identifying new business opportunities and managing the sales cycle.

Responsibilities
Drive the growth and success of TAG Events by proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, pitching, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
Serve as the primary point of contact for new clients throughout the entire sales process
Build and leverage a strong professional network to attract prospective clients and expand market reach
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company objectives
Maintain accurate records in the CRM to track pipeline, client interactions, and lifecycle management
Represent TAG at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
Identify opportunities to improve TAG Events’ offerings to meet and exceed client expectations
Collaborate with global sales and account management teams to share leads and support company growth objectives
Stay informed on industry and company developments to maintain expertise in travel, entertainment, and events sectors
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and company goals
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in business development within the events or travel industry (required)
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the events market, ideally within a travel management company (TMC) client base
Strong understanding of company values, strategic objectives, and the execution of business strategies
Proven success in a similar role within a competitive, fast-paced industry
Proficient in HubSpot or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities
