Responsibilities
Perform basic electrical engineering calculations and analysis
Layout and design electrical distribution
Develop lighting and lighting controls designs
Design emergency power systems
Design systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
Design projects from conceptual design to completion with appropriate supervision
Collaborate electrical system requirements with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
Perform construction administration responsibilities including submittal reviews, responding to contractor RFIs, and troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction phases
Assist in project management for engineering disciplines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
2 - 4 years of experience in the design of electrical systems
Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD is essential
Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Engineer in Training Certification Preferred
