Business Development Representative - East
The RealReal is the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated, resale luxury goods. They are seeking a self-motivated Business Development Representative to qualify leads and assist in closing new consignors in a fully-remote, competitive sales environment.

Responsibilities
Act as first point of contact for prospective clients (leads) interested in consigning at The RealReal
Qualify marketing generated leads though daily outreach, while fielding inbound inquiries
Pass qualified leads to appropriate sales channel to close into new consignment business
Nurture leads through ongoing follow-up via phone/text/email
Utilize internal tools and resources to educate leads on consignment process, brands accepted, pricing expectations and next steps
Qualification
Required
High degree of professionalism and excellent phone demeanor
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills; ability to tailor communication style to suit all audiences
Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortability using software such as G-Suite, Email, SalesForce, CRM
Self-motivation and drive to excel in fast-paced environment
A solutions-focused mentality with a growth mindset
Adaptability and openness to change
Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
Must be able to work one weekend day - shifts offered are: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
Preferred
Familiarity with the luxury fashion marketplace
Lead qualification experience
Benefits
Hourly base pay + uncapped commission
$800/month commission (at target)
