Supports product development within the Lab Group, with responsibilities spanning prototype fabrication, mechanical testing, and manufacturing activities
Works closely with engineers and fellow technicians to assemble test fixtures
Conduct mechanical testing
Inspect parts & components
Keep accurate records, reporting results to validate performance against customer requirements
Manufacturing prototype parts through welding robot operation
Hand welding
Assembly
Painting
Performing quality checks
Supporting shipping, receiving, and logistics as needed
Involved in multiple active projects
Expected to maintain high standards of quality
Follow defined procedures
Contribute to the timely delivery of program milestones
Qualification
Required
Strong communication
Ability to work in a team
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
Welding knowledge
0-2 years in a manufacturing environment
Associates Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or related field, or High school diploma or GED plus 4 years of experience
