As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for cost analysis, budget tracking, and forecasting across EPC projects, collaborating closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure cost transparency and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Lead the development, tracking, and reporting of detailed project cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
Collaborate with schedulers and project managers to ensure alignment between schedules, resources, and budgets
Review and analyze project cost performance to identify variances and provide actionable insights
Monitor earned value metrics and prepare comprehensive cost reports for internal and client stakeholders
Support procurement and contract cost control, including change order tracking and invoice reconciliation
Ensure financial compliance with corporate policies and support audits or reviews as needed
Assist with proposal cost modeling and baseline budget creation
Contribute to process improvements that enhance cost tracking and project visibility
Familiarity with P6 is a plus, but not a primary requirement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Construction Management, or related field
Experience in cost controls on EPC projects
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of the overall Project Management Organization function
Preferred
Utility experience
Familiarity with reading project schedules in P6
