Responsibilities
Welcome and assist all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively, with special attention to our Spanish-speaking community
Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately managing cash, credit, and insurance payments
Keep the retail area clean, organized, and appealing, making sure product displays are well-stocked and follow brand standards
Work with pharmacy leaders to execute seasonal promotions, new product launches, and sales events, while confirming all displays meet regulatory requirements
Help manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
Handle incoming phone calls, directing inquiries and providing administrative support to the pharmacy team, including translation support as needed
Inform customers about over-the-counter products and services, using your strong product expertise
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
2+ years of experience in a customer-facing retail role, such as a cashier, sales associate, or customer service representative, preferably in drug stores, pharmacies, or gas stations
Proven strong customer service skills with a track record of positive customer interactions
Fluency in English and Spanish languages is required, with demonstrated proficiency in verbal communication
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions
Basic computer skills; experience with retail software systems is a plus
