Shorr Packaging Corp. is seeking a Procurement Intern - Buyer for Summer 2026, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting the commodities and corrugated buying teams. The role involves assisting with the procurement of goods and services, conducting cost analysis, and participating in cross-functional meetings to understand the supply chain better.

Responsibilities

Assist with the replenishment of products within a collection of preferred suppliers to maximize performance of inventory following established policies and procedures

Conduct cost analysis across categories

Help buyers with their daily analysis of key reports that drive optimal replenishment. Analyze inventory needs and process purchase orders accordingly for general and customer dedicated stock

Interact with selected suppliers; support the cost negotiation and manage the integrity of data and cost

Assist the buyers in their cost savings activities

Participate in cross-functional meetings to better understand the end-to-end supply chain

Analyze inventory performance to ensure we are meeting working capital KPI’s

Complete a capstone project to be assigned at the time of coming on board
