The role involves analyzing defective parts, providing feedback to production personnel, and working with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve processes and materials.

Responsibilities
Inspects parts being produced by established procedures and AQLs
Reviews defective parts coming from machines, analyzes them and provides feedback to Maintenance Technician and Production personnel
Generates Defective Material Reports (DMR) for non-conforming materials
Responsible for controlling inventory within MRB
Completes and enters inspection data into Infinity Software (SPC)
Monitors and reports on quality related issues, scrap, rework levels
Stops production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable goods/processes
May assist in train direct labor personnel and others
Undertakes special assignments as required
Responsible for the daily dimensional inspection of the molded parts using several different measuring equipment
Contributes and participates in continuous improvement activities
Position requires an individual who is enthusiastic, hardworking and team player
Qualification
Required
Understands how to use and apply correct inspection tools/equipment for various inspection methods
Able to write appropriate Work Instructions
Computer literate in Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication skills, high integrity, results driven
Preferred
Experience with 'Infinity' SPC system
Proficiency in Excel
Experience in Molding
3+ years of experience in Inspection Systems
GD+T experience, able to read and understand drawings
Bilingual - English and Spanish
