They are seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a wide range of legal, regulatory, and administrative matters within their Legal and Compliance team, working closely with attorneys and compliance professionals.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal and external attorneys to assist in negotiating and closing transactions
Receive, review and analyze non-disclosure agreements and other vendor and non-vendor contracts
Prepare and manage account opening documentation and review and Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) materials
Partner with the firm’s Compliance team to support the firm’s compliance and regulatory practices
Support internal counsel in managing the corporate action and class action litigation workstreams
Manage the organization, storage, and dissemination of legal documents and other departmental records
Contribute to development and maintenance of SFM office infrastructure and administrative processes
Provide direct support to SFM attorneys on a range of legal, transactional, and operational matters, as needed

Required

5+ years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar capacity
Strong written, organizational, and analytical abilities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail, demonstrating accuracy, thoroughness, and sound judgment
A proactive, positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
