Electrical Journeyperson

Responsibilities
Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and appliances according to standard practice of the trade, and safety regulations set up by State and local governments
Install, repair, and maintain electronic equipment used in areas of Plant Operations
Qualification
Required
Commercial Journeyman License (Current)
A high school diploma or equivalent
Technical school certification with courses in electricity, electronics, motor control and operation, control wiring, electronic circuitry, basic computer skills, mathematics or a minimum of four (4) years experience working as an electrician apprentice, journeyman, electrician or electronics technician
Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
Has a good knowledge of codes and standards, required to perform work
Must be able to understand and manipulate systems computers
Must be capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints
Weekend work and shift rotation is required
