Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies
Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies
Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements
Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment
Stay up-to-date with OpenShift and Kubernetes advancements, providing recommendations for improvements
Examine and identify opportunities for improving existing procedures, with the customer's approval
Qualification
Required
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, or related degree, or HS Diploma, and 7+ years of lab management or systems administration experience
6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
Preferred
Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD
Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration
Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Desired Certifications: DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II
Benefits
The bonus for this position is $3,500, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
