POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR

Responsibilities

Use applied computational methods for the analysis of genomic, single-cell, and/or other high-dimensional biological datasets
Integrate multi-omics data (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) to identify novel biological insights relevant to human disease
Employ AI and machine learning approaches for predictive modeling, clustering, and feature discovery
Collaborate with experimental and clinical scientists to design, interpret, and translate computational findings
Prepare manuscripts, present findings at national and international conferences, and contribute to grant applications
Mentor graduate students, medical trainees, or junior team members in computational approaches

Required

PhD in computational biology, genetics/genomics, computer science, bioinformatics, statistics, or a related quantitative field
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and/or R; experience with high-performance computing environments is a plus
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: machine learning/AI, single-cell analysis, statistical genomics, or multi-omics integration
Strong publication record in relevant fields
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Preferred

Familiarity with large biobank or population genomics datasets
