Responsibilities

Be actively involved in establishing system-wide biomedical engineering operational goals and objectives that support Scripps Health's strategic plan and corporate vision and will lead initiatives with all Hospital or Clinic departments to ensure successful outcomes
Be responsible for the oversight and management of the site's biomedical engineering operations, logistics, and management of medical equipment
Provide training and technical leadership to appropriate patient care personnel regarding equipment operations, standards, and maintenance

Qualification

Biomedical engineeringLeadership experienceA.A. Degree in ElectronicsBiomedical Technology educationAAMI Certification

Required

A minimum three years of leadership experience in hospital biomedical engineering department
A.A. Degree in Electronics or Equivalent Education in Biomedical Technology or Equivalent Military Training/Education

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in engineering
AAMI Certification
