Senior Repair & Maintenance Engineer
Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, focused on delivering a wide range of products and solutions. They are seeking a Senior Repair & Maintenance Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced control systems for industrial automation projects and assist with troubleshooting complex problems.

Responsibilities
Design and implement control system architectures for automated equipment and processes
Program and configure PLCs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Factory Talk software
Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD tools
Lead and manage capital projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure functionality and reliability
Train junior teammates and maintenance team personnel on control systems and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated automation solutions
Maintain compliance with NFPA, IEC, UL, and other applicable standards
Prepare detailed documentation, including user manuals and maintenance guides
Occasional after-hours work and call-ins required to support critical operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems design
Expertise in PLC programming with RS Logix Studio 5000, and Factory Talk
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with robotics, motion control, vision systems, and Industry 4.0 concepts
Omron PLC troubleshooting experience
