The VDC Field Technician will be responsible for collecting as-built construction data to ensure projects are constructed according to design, involving physically demanding tasks and travel to various construction sites in the South Florida region.

Responsibilities
Capture 360° as-built photos of all areas of the construction site
Upload captures to photogrammetry software for processing and stitching
Perform terrestrial LiDAR scans of entire construction sites or specific areas
Travel to multiple construction sites in the South Florida Region on a daily or weekly basis
Ability to work in high elevation up to 1,000 ft
Ability to interpret architectural drawings, details, and specification a plus
Ability to travel by car to various job sites around South Florida
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of a bachelor's program in engineering or Construction Management from an accredited program
Ability to learn and interact with new hardware/software
Verbal communication skills, able to understand directions, read work orders with location and project descriptions
A strong attention to detail and quality of performing various types of reality capture
Strong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning
Ability to lift equipment up to 50lbs
Ability to walk the entirety of job sites, many without vertical transportation requiring the use of stairs
Ability to work in wet environments in or outside of the construction site
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to the standards of the specific construction site
