Responsibilities

Set up, run, and complete tests using software-controlled instrumentation

Ability to handle multiple tasks for several customers

Ensure test circuits are connected and running properly

Provide complete, accurate, and timely documentation of test results

Convey all information to customers and ensure satisfaction

Practice safety and good housekeeping in the laboratory, and be familiar with job-related MSDS

Help out as needed or as directed by Management

Communicate effectively with co-workers, engineering, and management

Follow the 5-S principles and practices

Ability to learn and demonstrate knowledge of batteries and Stryten Energy products

Operate forklift truck and crane on a regular basis

Additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and company goals

Required

Two-year technical degree in electrical/chemical technology with 0-2 years experience or 3-4 years equivalent combination of work experience with electrical and/or chemical test equipment

Working knowledge of standard shop tools

Good understanding of basic electricity/electronics

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures, and technical manuals

Strong focus and exposure to safety protocols in the laboratory

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good observation, record-keeping, and documentation skills

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

High degree of organization, self-motivation, and accountability

Analytical ability to prioritize work and move from task to task

Must be detail-oriented

Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Ability to regularly lift a minimum 50 lbs. on a daily basis and 51 to 150 lbs. with the assistance of equipment on a daily to weekly basis

Preferred

Forklift Training Certification is a plus
