Ibotta is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to join their innovative team and contribute to their mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. The intern will conduct data analysis, support the creation of business intelligence dashboards, and assist with visualizations and testing for accuracy.

Responsibilities

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate ad hoc reports to answer business questions or support ongoing projects
Support the creation, migration, and improvement of business intelligence dashboards using tools like Looker and Databricks
Help gather requirements, build visualizations, and test new or updated dashboards for accuracy and usability

Required

Juniors working towards a bachelor's degree with a focus in computer science, information systems, business analytics, statistics or related field
Proven ability to think creatively and implement ideas from start to finish
Good written and verbal communication skills
Hunger to learn and collaborate with your teammates
Required to be comfortable working in Microsoft Excel or Excel-like products to manipulate data
Comfortable working in a team environment, asking questions, and documenting findings or issues clearly
Ability to work with data, spot inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis
Candidates must live in the United States
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred

Exposure to business intelligence platforms (such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI)
Basic SQL for querying and manipulating data
