Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Create and or modify CNC programs for 3-axis and 4-axis machining centers
Analyze job orders, drawings, specifications, and design data to calculate tool selection and machining speeds and feed rates
Design and define machining fixtures
Prototype and ensure the quality of first article parts
Set-up and operate 3-axis and 4 axis machining centers
Participate in improving our product, processes, equipment, and methods
Prepare work instructions and maintain accurate records
Assist with operator training programs
Facilitate CI process
Handle internal and external questions in a prompt, professional manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Continually look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance
Perform all reasonably related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Three to five years progressively more responsible experience
Extensive technical or specialized knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired in the first two years of college, technical school, or business school
Strong attention to detail
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
Preferred
Programming experience with mills and/or routers is preferred
