They are seeking a motivated Showroom & Business Development Manager to lead their flagship showroom in Chicago, balancing showroom leadership with strategic business development to drive sales growth and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring an exceptional visitor experience
Lead, coach, and develop the showroom team, including scheduling and onboarding
Maintain high merchandising standards and ensure product readiness
Provide expert ergonomic product consultations
Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive in-showroom experience
Monitor and improve sales performance metrics
Develop and execute strategies to grow corporate and designer client accounts
Build strong relationships with industry professionals and local business leaders
Conduct client site visits to deliver tailored ergonomic solutions
Proudly represent the UPLIFT brand at networking events, industry trade shows, and community gatherings
Prepare professional sales presentations and proposals
Partner with marketing to drive lead generation and outreach initiatives

Required

At least three years of showroom, retail, or customer-facing sales leadership, ideally in furniture, design, or a related industry
Proven track record in business development or B2B sales with measurable results
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first approach
Passion for ergonomics, health, and workplace wellness
Experience with customer service, merchandising, and analyzing sales data
Proficiency with CRM/ERP systems and Google Workspace tools

Preferred

A strong local network in the Chicago design or business community is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or related field is a plus
Experience with HubSpot CRM
Familiarity with NetSuite ERP
Experience creating lead generation campaigns using tools like Apollo or Hunter.io
Prior work in an e-commerce or hybrid retail environment
