They are seeking a Senior Business Development Director for their Aviation Division to develop strategic business plans, establish client relationships, and lead proposal responses to achieve financial goals.

Responsibilities

Develop strategic business plan with Aviation Leadership to achieve annual and long-term financial goals and objectives

Establish future client as well as design and construction relationships to support business objectives and improve market identity

Perform on going market and competitor analysis to improve win rate and improve future positioning

Identify and maintain current list of near term, intermediate and long term target prospects leading to formal go / no go decisions

Provide leadership and oversight for marketing and operations beginning with identification of prospects, relationship building, positioning including win strategy for target pursuits

Responsible for leading RFQ and RFP proposal responses including Presentations and Interviews coordinating efforts with preconstruction, construction, safety, quality, diversity, logistics, risk management and legal departments

Lead and coordinate CMAR and Design Build proposal pursuits working closely with designated Design and Construction Joint Venture Partners

Maintain client, design and construction partners relationships following project award to capitalize on the project win and future positioning

Develop publicity and positioning initiative including social and print media including community outreach to promote and increase Austin’s visibility in the aviation market

Organize events and attend Aviation Conferences (AAAE, ACI, ACC and DBIA)

Required

15+ years of combined construction and / or design build experience

Experience leading CMAR or Design Build projects and/or pursuits in Aviation market

Track record leading marketing and business development team

Field based construction experience during your career is a plus

Bachelor's degree in construction or related field
