This hands-on role involves designing, implementing, and integrating infrastructure systems, particularly on Windows-based systems, within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Platform Engineering designs and maintains the firm's operating systems, authentication systems, databases, virtualization infrastructure, core network services, and messaging and endpoints on Windows and Linux in both our internal- and external-facing environments
This engineer will be tasked with the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure systems, particularly—though not exclusively—on Windows-based systems
Qualification
Required
Candidates should have a degree in computer science (or another technical discipline) or comparable work experience
Significant Windows software development and systems automation experience is required
An in-depth understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies (e.g., Active Directory and Failover Clustering) is required
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required
Familiarity with a variety of tracing tools (e.g., WireShark, ETW, and ProcMon) is required
A working knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts is required
Preferred
Experience with C# or PowerShell is preferred
Experience with Python and Rust is beneficial
Experience with common Windows Server applications and management tools (e.g., Exchange, SQL, SCCM, Hyper-V, and ADFS, etc.) is also preferred
Experience integrating systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, and GCP) is preferred
Working with containers on Windows and Linux is preferred
Outstanding communication skills are imperative
