Technical Sales Engineer - Cutting Tools South California Area
Seco Tools, a subsidiary of Sandvik, is seeking a results-oriented Regional Technical Sales Professional for the Southern California Area. The role involves representing Seco Tools' metal cutting solutions to a diverse clientele, focusing on account management, new business development, and optimizing sales through distributor channel partners.

Responsibilities
Developing new end user customers and managing and mining existing customer accounts to assure customer retention and development of new business opportunities for increased product sales
Optimizing sales with distribution channel partners through joint calls, end user leads, and technical product support
Territory planning, sales administrative activities and reporting
Qualification
Required
5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role
Proven experience in the manufacturing or distributor focused sales environment
Strong technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment where product application solutions are required
Experience in a distributor and end user environment across an array of market segments
Strong skills in qualifying, demonstrating and influencing customers
Ability to travel (50-60%) in the Southern California Area
Developing new end user customers and managing existing customer accounts
Optimizing sales with distribution channel partners through joint calls, end user leads, and technical product support
Territory planning, sales administrative activities and reporting
Results-oriented, self-directed sales professional with technical aptitude
Proactive, consultative, solution-oriented approach
