Stationary Engineer

Long Island Mechanical LLC is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain various mechanical systems. The role involves performing technical maintenance duties, troubleshooting, and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment such as chillers, pumps, and HVAC systems.

Construction

Responsibilities

Operates chillers, pumps, fan coil units
Operates Performs various maintenance duties and handles service requests requiring technical labor skills
Operate, maintain and repair condensate pumps, condensate tanks, sump pumps, sewage ejectors with their related valves and piping
Operate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all systems related equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, and deionized water production trains
At the direction of supervisor, maintains equipment such as heat exchanger, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and hot water systems
Overhauls, disassembles and reassembles pumps such as feed water, transfer, condensate, vacuum and chemical pumps
Maintain heaters, chillers, pumps, fan coil units
Operate, maintain and repair all air compressors and auxiliaries, valves and piping
Operate, maintain and repair pumps, pump prime movers, storage facilities and valves and piping in and out of the building and reservoir and meter valve pits
Operate, maintain and repair refrigeration machinery, related controls, and piping connected with air conditioning, ice machines and cold rooms
Operate, maintain and repair cooling towers, fans, gear reducers, main line pumps and appurtenances
Operate, maintain and repair compressed air systems, pneumatic controls and related piping for heating, ventilating and refrigeration systems control
Operate, maintain and repair Building Management System, HVAC controls related to heating, ventilating and refrigeration systems control
MUST HAVE FDNY Q-01 REFRIGERATION SYSTEM OPERATING ENGINEER CERTIFICATE
