Position entails field and laboratory work assisting two UAPB fisheries graduate students on research projects in wetlands and tailwater rivers
Qualification
Required
Proof of current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to receive both prior to employment)
Completion of a boater's education course
A valid driver's license with good record
Ability to lift 40 lbs
Ability to withstand inclement weather conditions including humid temperatures above 90 F and close to freezing temperatures
Preferred
A B.S. degree in Fisheries Science, Biology, or related field
Fisheries field sampling experience including towing, trailering, and driving tiller outboard motor vessels
Driving 4-wheelers and field trucks
Macroinvertebrate identification
