Inside Sales Account Manager I

The Inside Sales Account Manager I is responsible for identifying customer needs, managing accounts, and creating value through proactive account management and relationship building.

Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of maintenance accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention
Conduct 25–30 outbound calls daily to engage customers and prospects
Record interactions and opportunities in CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with business goals. Implement pricing strategies and manage assigned sales budgets ($2–5 million)
Identify and close new business opportunities through cold calling and market research
Support prospecting campaigns into new markets and applications
Partner with Account Managers to coordinate customer site visits and audits
Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities and forecasts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing (or equivalent experience)
0–2 years of professional sales experience, preferably in industrial chemicals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Ability to manage multiple accounts and sell at all organizational levels
Self-motivated, organized, and data-driven
Preferred
Salesforce.com experience
Advanced consultative selling skills
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools
