They are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to coordinate multiple groups and vendors, lead the installation of capital equipment, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Coordination of multiple groups and vendors

Lead the installation and commissioning of capital equipment

Coordination with local environmental agencies via audits, permitting, and hazardous waste management

Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations

Working closely with project leadership and other functional groups to maintain schedule and budget

Utilization of MS Project to track and manage project status

Other technical, physical, and administrative duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

4+ years of relevant environmental experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is required

Demonstrated ability to use AutoCAD for generation of plant layouts

To be able to read and interpret building drawings and environmental regulations at an advanced level

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Working knowledge of MS Project including the creation and maintenance of project schedules

The qualified candidate must have an interest in working in a hands-on manufacturing environment

Highly motivated and organized individual who is able to function independently as well as on a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint)

U. S. Citizenship is required

Position requires the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed

Preferred

In-depth understanding of environmental requirements; construction or manufacturing prior experience is a plus

Experience with Revit & Bluebeam Revu is a plus
