Traveling Superintendent- Tilt-Up

Placed is seeking Traveling Superintendents for a Top 10 ENR ranked client, requiring 10+ years of experience in delivering large-scale construction projects. The role involves overseeing construction activities, managing schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

Manage all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents, safety standards, and project specifications
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules; coordinate work among subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to meet deadlines
Enforce company and OSHA safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a zero-incident jobsite
Monitor workmanship, materials, and installation to ensure adherence to company standards and contract requirements
Direct and supervise subcontractors; review work progress, resolve field issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors; maintain detailed daily reports and documentation
Identify and resolve field conflicts or design discrepancies in collaboration with project management and design teams
Coordinate equipment, materials, and manpower to ensure efficient jobsite operations
Oversee punch list completion, final inspections, and project turnover to the client

Required

10+ years' experience delivering Ground-Up, Tilt Wall and/or Precast Warehouse/Distribution projects upwards of $20M
Experience with Commercial, Cold Storage, Datacenter, Industrial, Warehouse, Life Science projects
Ability to manage all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents, safety standards, and project specifications
Experience in developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules; coordinating work among subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
Knowledge of company and OSHA safety policies; ability to conduct regular safety meetings and inspections
Ability to monitor workmanship, materials, and installation to ensure adherence to company standards and contract requirements
Experience in directing and supervising subcontractors; reviewing work progress, resolving field issues, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
Ability to serve as the primary on-site point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors; maintaining detailed daily reports and documentation
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve field conflicts or design discrepancies in collaboration with project management and design teams
