The role involves performing industrial radiographic testing on welded joints and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform radiographic testing (X-ray or gamma ray) on welds, piping, and structural components
Interpret radiographic images to identify discontinuities such as cracks, porosity, or inclusions
Ensure compliance with applicable codes
Support RT Technicians in preparing, positioning, and exposing radiographic film or digital imaging equipment
Assist in maintaining records and performing basic calibrations
Collaborate with welders, inspectors, and engineers to resolve quality issues

Qualification

Radiographic TestingNDT CertificationsRadiation Safety CardState-issued Radiography CardCollaboration

Required

Valid Driver's License
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up-to 40 lbs. repeatedly
Previous Experience

Preferred

40-Hour Radiation Safety card
State-issued Radiography Card
NDT Certifications
