Drop Crew Technician

Socket Fiber is looking for hard-working, dependable individuals to join their Drop Crew Technician team. In this physically active, outdoor role, you’ll assist installation technicians in preparing sites for fiber line installation and ensure safety and organization at job sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare and optimize sites for fiber drop installation
Load, unload, and maintain tools and equipment
Dig trenches and operate machinery such as a vibratory plow
Assist with traffic control when working in public rights-of-way
Keep equipment clean and job sites organized
Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Maintain reliable attendance and a clean driving record
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
Previous labor or construction experience
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Flexibility and a positive attitude
Maintain reliable attendance and a clean driving record

Preferred

Basic knowledge of construction or utility work
