Responsibilities
Directs, coaches, and inspires a high-performing team. Assigns, reviews, and evaluates work; promotes accountability; and ensures staff development and engagement
Manages all aspects of Property Management, HCV, RAD, VASH, and Resident Services programs to ensure quality, compliance, and service excellence
Partners with senior leadership to execute BHA’s vision through data-driven goals and initiatives. Optimizes use of resources to support long-term organizational priorities
Monitors program operations to ensure adherence to HUD, state, and local regulations and standards
Analyzes existing processes and recommends improvements that enhances efficiency, reduces costs, and maintains high levels of resident satisfaction
Oversees Resident Services initiatives that addresses resident needs and promotes self-sufficiency, wellness, and community involvement
Represents BHA at public meetings and maintains strong relationships with residents, community groups, and government partners
Stays informed of affordable housing developments, legislation, and best practices in public housing operations and policy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field
Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in property management or affordable housing
Five (5) years in a leadership role
Public Housing Management (PHM) or equivalent certification preferred
Deep understanding of public housing operations, including RAD, LIHTC, and HCV programs
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws and HUD regulations
Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage budgets, and drive performance improvement
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and housing management software
Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution and maintain professionalism under pressure
