Fosber America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join their engineering team. The role involves developing mechanical layout drawings for a new product line and assisting with customer service troubleshooting phone calls.

Responsibilities

Sales proposal layout drawings for all machines in the new product line

Perform technical calculations and gather information needed to complete sales layout drawings as well as final installation drawings

Minor production drawings (brackets, misc. parts)

Miscellaneous drawings from any department at Fosber

Drawings for training and/or manuals

Create correspondence in Microsoft Word and Excel

Mechanical production and detailing of drawings from the mechanical manufacturing group

For Design, stay familiar with ancillary equipment providers and best practices i. Conveyor ii. Starch Kitchen and starch reservoirs iii. Boiler room

Maintain all CAD related software

Understand all CAD related hardware and software configurations

Should be the “go to” person at Fosber for CAD related questions

If unable to answer questions, should be able to find outside resource with the answer

Staying current with CAD updates, trends and latest releases

Participate in CAD seminars and/or classes to stay current with technology

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in or related area
