Responsibilities

Deliver on the scope and schedule of projects, as defined in contract statement of work
Work to ensure client satisfaction is measured throughout the term of the contract and report any issues to the SecureStrux Project Manager or Lead Engineer
Conduct customer training and provide advice and accurate responses to customer questions within 8 business hours
Design and implement network architecture according to required compliance frameworks and IT Security requirements
Configure and deploy Cisco switches, routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto firewalls to create robust and reliable network infrastructures
Implement and maintain network security measures, including access control lists (ACLs), comply-to-connect (C2C), virtual LANs (VLAN), 802.1x, TACACS and firewall policies, to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) security requirements
Ensure network architecture and supporting equipment are configured according to required compliance frameworks and IT Security requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and propose suitable solutions that align with clients’ business needs and security requirements
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Required

Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience, and 5+ years' experience
Active Secret Clearance required to start
Active Security+ and CCNA or CCNP Certifications required to start
3-5 years of demonstrated experience configuring and managing Cisco switches, routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Palo Alto firewalls
Familiarity with DoD security requirements and experience implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)/Security Requirements Guides (SRG) to comply with DoD guidelines
Solid understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, and routing protocols
Working knowledge of 802.1x and TACACS
Working knowledge of Comply-to-Connect (C2C)
Understanding of IDS/IPS
Experience with Network Access Controls such as Cisco ISE or ForeScout
Hands-on experience generating network diagrams using Microsoft Visio
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Hands on experience deploying and maintaining SIPRNet and NIPRNet
Working knowledge of CCRI/CORA
