ADJUNCT - BIOLOGY POOL

New Grad, Entry LevelDel Mar College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Biology courses in response to institutional needs. The role involves maintaining professional relationships and adapting teaching methods to assist students from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction
Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes
Maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community
Maintain safe and secure laboratories with an emphasis in safety in all laboratory courses taught
Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies, specimens, and equipment
Perform other related duties within the department as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's of Science degree in the Biological Sciences
18 graduate hours in courses with an emphasis in Biology
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline
Preferred
Successful college teaching experience
Experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction
