Responsibilities

Drive significant revenue growth within the higher education customer base
Responsible for the entire EDU revenue target
Focus on direct selling, prioritizing and growing key accounts, generating referrals, and closing new business opportunities
Work closely with marketing to shape go-to-market strategy and with product to ensure solutions dominate the market
Develop and present a strategic plan for the EDU vertical, outlining key priorities and go-to-market approach
Build a significant pipeline of new business opportunities with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) accounts
Show tangible results and growing traction from a formalized customer referral program
Achieve ambitious annual revenue targets for both new business and customer expansion
Propose remodeled pricing and packaging to best serve customers and maximize revenue

Required

5+ years of sales experience and a deep understanding of complex sales cycles
2-3+ years of specific experience selling into the Higher Education market
Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the Higher Education vertical
Existing relationships with potential buyers in the Higher Education market
Experience selling directly to Admissions and/or Student Affairs teams
Revenue-driven leadership with a history of leading by example and motivating teams
Current title like Sales Manager, Head of EDU Sales, Director of University Partnerships, or senior Account Executive
Strategic thinking ability to analyze a portfolio and identify high-growth opportunities
Experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage pipeline and forecast accurately
Experience selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
