Responsibilities
Lead general accounting and corporate financial reporting , ensuring accuracy and compliance
Oversee technical accounting matters , including complex transactions and policy implementation
Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process , focusing on timeliness and automation
Manage and develop a team of 10+ accounting professionals , fostering a high-performance culture
Partner with external auditors and ensure readiness for audits and compliance requirements
Support system implementations or conversions , ensuring smooth transitions and process improvements
Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives , including process optimization and integration projects
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
CPA strongly preferred; prior public accounting experience helpful
Background in product-based industries
Experience in private equity-backed organizations or similar fast-paced environments
Proven ability to lead large teams and drive process improvements
Familiarity with system implementations or ERP conversions
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
