They are currently seeking a Missile Defense Systems Analyst/Engineer to support next-generation missile defense architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments, focusing on evaluating architecture concepts and system performance using advanced modeling and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures

Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads

Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools

Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions

Required

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or MBSE (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems

Expertise with GTRI Benchmark OR AFSIM modeling environments

Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Must be a U.S. Citizen

An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
