i2vision is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to provide technical support during the application, design, and installation phases of projects. The role involves coordinating engineering support, leading the development of electrical equipment, and managing requisition processes while ensuring compliance with global codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support during application/design/installation phases of contract negotiation and implementation

Coordinating engineering support with interfacing organizations such as sourcing, services, gas / steam / gen requisition engineering, global engineering, and equipment suppliers

Lead the development and application of electrical Material Shipped Direct (MSD) equipment on new unit Gas or Steam turbine generators

Partner with requisition management to reduce requisition cycle and improve requisition process from order definition through commercial operation

Commit to and meet on-time performance targets of internal engineering and customer deliverables

Lead Generator and Electrical equipment discussions at customer meetings, both domestic and globally Drive requisition goals and objectives

Provide strong technical support and champion cost savings projects

Responsible for strategy of how to handle risk and disposition of hardware factory or installation issues

Interpret and implement contract requirements and Design Practices

Stay current with global codes / standards, tools, and processes

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

Good experience in detailed engineering for Gas and Steam power plant projects

Good experience in design work for Electrical equipment like Motor Control Center, Batteries & Compartments, 52G Generator Breaker, Neutral Grounding equipment, Generator Protection, AC and DC Panel board and Cabinets, Electrical Compartments, Cable Sizing and Interconnection works, Transformers etc

Experience in Cable Sizing as per NEC. · Experience in developing plant Single Line Diagrams

Experience in developing technical specifications for various power plant electrical equipment

Worked with different supplier, review and approve drawings and documentation

Experience in managing stakeholders from different departments

Understand of international standards like NEC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC

Experience in reviewing customer specifications and preparing deviation list

Good written and verbal communication
